Mails close at the Chief Post-office for the following places as under, subject to necessary alterations Saturday, August 4. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Riugarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Monday, August 6. For Otago, per Wakatipu. For local mails, sec Postal Guido, No. 15. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
