For Chatham Islands, per Island Lily, at 11 a.m. Mails per Rotorua will close as under : For the United Kingdom via San Francisco, Northern Ports of New Zealand, Sydney, Brisbane, America, Canada, Honolulu, Continent of Europe, &c, at 1 p.m. ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. Money orders, registered letters, book packets, and newspapers for Rotorua s mails, at n-on. Late letters for mails per Rotorua can be posted in the guard’s van, Christchurch railway station, up to 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee, Mails per Arawata will close as under For the United Kingdom, via Southampton and Brindisi, the Continent of Europe, China, India, &c., the Australian colonies, and Otago, at 1 p.m. ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. Money orders, registered letters, book packets, and newspapers for Arawata’s mails, at noon. Late letters for mails per Arawata can be posted in the guard’s van, Cbristchurcu railway station, up to 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee, Monday, July 30.
