CHPISTCHUKCH. Friday, June 29. (Before Dr Dearner, J.P.) Drunkenness. —Margaret Ellison, an old offender, who had been cautioned the previous day was sentenced to twelve months'imprisonment with hard labor. Helen Anderson was fined 40s. An inebriate who appeared for the first time, was fined ss.
LYTTELTON. Friday, June 29. [Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M.] Drunkenness. Martin McDonald, arrested by Constable Moutray, was fined 10s or in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment.
