For Wellington and Sydney, per Easby, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway, 2.30 p.m. train. Thursday, June 28. For Northern Ports, per Wellington, at 3 10 p.m. ; late letters, 3 30 p.m.; railway, 4 p.m. train. Friday, June 29. Mails per Eotorua will close as under : For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1 p.m ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For Northern Ports of IS'ew Zealand, Sydney, America, the Continent of Europe, Canada, Sandwich Islands, &c, at 1 p.m; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For posting newspapers and books, noon. For money orders and registered letters, noon. Late letters, per Eotorua, can be posted in the guard's van, Christchurch Railway Station, up to 2.30 p.m on the 29th instant, provided each letter bear, in addition to the full postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee.
