THE WOOL MARKET.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company has received the following telegram, dated 22nd Juno : "Wool —Competition is increasing and quotations are on an average Id lo lkl better than at the opening. The principal advance lias been in superior greasy and superior combing washed. Cross-bred combing washed market firmer. Scoured market, unchanged. 'Die sales will close on the 20th. Competition by both home and foreign buyers is active' The 1 allow market is quiet. Mutton, 12s ; beef, lis. The wheat market is Hat. The weather is favourable for the crops here. Adelaide wheat, 63s ; New Zealand, s(!s. The leather market is Hat, Best sides, lOid."
