Singapore, June 22nd, 11.10 a.m. The Russian batteries have commenced bombarding the forts at Kars. The left wing of the Russian army is marching towards Kupriku. The Turks are retreating to Delibeta, where they have received reinforcements. Singapore, (no date.)

Consols are falling, consequent on a report that the Government will ask additional credit. The armament of the Turks at Delibeta has been defeated, and compelled to fall back on Erzeroum. Wellington, June 23,

The following message has just been received by the Government from the AgentGeneral, dated London, J une 21.

The Russian left wing has gained a victory at Delibeta, in Armenia. It is reported that 1000 of the Turks have been killed, and 450 taken prisoners. The Russians are about to cross the Danube. An important battle is hourly expected.
