A CORRECTION.
To Hie Editor of the Globe. Sib, —Under the heading “ Hotel licenses,” the following is reported in your issue of the 20th inst: —“ The adjourned application for a license for the Sumner Hotel was considered. Mr Joynt appeared to support the application”; and further on the remarks of the chairman, “three slices bread,” &c. I wish to draw your attention to the fact that this is a gross error as regards the name of the hotel. It should have been Morton’s Marine Hotel, and not “The Sumner.” This mistake has already done me considerable injury, and is calculated to do more. I have therefore to request that you will be good enough to correct the error. Yours, &c.,
Mary Schlutee, Proprietress of the Sumner Hotel, Sumner, June 22.
