CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, June 22. (Tiefore C. Whitefoord, Esq., R.M.) Drunk and Disorderly. -An inebriate, who appeared for the first time, was fined 5s and Is for cabhire. John Lysaght, J. J. Donaldson, and John O’Connell were each fined 10s. Laeceny from the Person. —Andrew Brown was charged with stealing a pnrsc containing ;C0 from the person of John Lysaght. On the application of Inspector Buckley, accused was remanded until Saturday. to enable the police to trace the purse if possible. LYTTELTON. Friday, June 22. (Before Dr Donald, R.M.) Drunkenness. —Samuel Randall, arrested by Constable Bnllen, was fined 10s. Refusal of Duty. -James MacAlistcr, cook aboard the ship Otago, was charged with this offence by Captain Peebles. Accused pleaded drunkenness as an excuse, and was fined 10s.
