Passengers—Mr and Mrs Thomson, Mr Trestrail E. U. Cameron, schooner, for Le Bon’s Bay, The Piako sails this afternoon. The wind being N.E., she will be towed out by the p.s. Titan. The s.s. Wakatipu, from Port Chalmers, arrived at 7 a.m. to-day. She sails for Sydney, via Wellington, this afternoon. The s.s. Tui arrived at 5 a m. to-day. She sails on her return trip at 6 p.m. The s.s. Taupo, with the inward San Francisco mail, arrived from the North at 10.15 a.m. to-day, and sailed for Port Chalmers at 12.40 p.m. The s.s. Tararua, from Melbourne via South, arrived at 9.H0 a.m., and proceeds to Melbourne, via Wellington and West Coast, this afternoon. The Clematis proceeds to Timani on Thursday. On arrival there she loads grain for Taranaki, and after discharging at that port goes to Kaipara, where she fills up with timber for Lyttelton. The Good Templar reports that the Isabella, Gatlin, Lloyd’s Herald, Kestrel, and Martha Reid are all loading timber at Gatlin’s River for this port. As the Jane, Hannah, and Edith Reid also return here, quite a fleet may be expected from that place shortly. ______________
