This handsome ship of the Albion Company, noted for the quick passages she has made and for her beautiful lines, put in an appearance yesterday morning. She is a composite vessel, with iron top sides, and was built by the same people as the Wellington and her sister ships. The Otago will bo berthed at the Gladstone Pier to-day to discharge her coal, and load for England. Her commander. Captain Peebles, informs ns that she left Port Chalmers at 2 p.m. on Friday with a N.E. breeze, and made the Peninsula at daylight on Sunday morning. The wind then went round to S.W., blowing from that quarter till East Head was rounded, when it changed to hi .W.. taking the vessel off the land. In the afternoon it changed to S W., and the ship beat in against it, the pilot boarding her at 8 p.m. on Sunday night.
