The Customs revenue collected on Monday amounted to .£522 Os 3d, as follows: —Spirits, £234 Is 7d; wine, £B2 Os lOd ; tea, £79 os «d: sugar, £33 4s lOd ; oilman’s stores, £ls 12s Od; tobacco, £B3 7s (id; boots, £1 12s; grindery, £9 18s; sundries, £2 14s 6d.
The land sold at the Waste Lands Board on Monday and Tuesday amounted to 0387 acres, 2 roods, realising £12.775, situated in tho following counties:— Ashlev, 3713 acres; Selwyn, 530 acres 2 roods; Akarda, 134 acres; Ashburton, 1398 acres; Geraldine, 592 acres; Waiwate, 20 acres,
