The Phoebe arrived last night, having been compelled to put back by stress of weather. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday she experienced a terrific north-west gale, and on the morning of the latter day her main trysail blew away, and they had to put the helm up and run before the gale. At midnight it somewhat abated, and Captain Kennedy, considering "lie had not sufficient coal left to make the passage to Sydney, determined to run for Nelson. He says' he never experienced a fiercer gale.
