The Customs revenue eollectcd on Wednesday amounted to .£578 5s 9d, as follows:—Spirits, £194 lis lOd; wine, £43 14s 4d; tea, £l3 15s 9d; sugar, £B7 los 6d; oilman's stores, £3 Os 4d; tobacco, £56 los; drapery, £2O 12s; boots, ,£3B; grindery, £5 8s; furniture, £3 10s; watches, .£l7 14s; malt, £4B 12s; hardware, £6 8s; saddlery, £ll 12s; paints, £4 19s ; stationery, £3 ; glassware, £2 12s; fancy goods, £1 10s; sundries, £5 10s. The land sold yesterday by the Waste Lands Board amounted to 1815 acres, realising £3630 Bituated in the following counties:— Ashley, 400 acres; Selwyn, 416 acres ; Akaroa, 32 acres; Ashburton, 502 acres; Geraldine, 465 acres.
