Friday, May 4. Mails per Rotorua will close as under: — For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1.20 p.m.; late letters, 1.40 p.m. Kor the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, &c, at 1 p.m.; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For Northern Provinces and Sydney, at 1.20 p.m.; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For money orders and registered letters, noon. For postng book-packets and newspapers, 1 p.m. Late letters can be posted in the guard’s van, Christchurch railway station, up to 2.30 p.m. Saturday, May 5. For United Kingdom via Southampton and Brindisi, per Arawata, at 1.30 p.m. ; late letters, 1.50 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, India, and China, and the East, &c., &c., at 1.30 p.m. ; late letters, 1.50 p.m. For Otago and Australian Colonies, at 1.40 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. For money orders and registered letters, noon.
