The Ann Gambles has been chartered by the N.Z.S. Company. She loads grain for Auckland, and on arrival there loads for London. The brigantine Oceolo, coal laden from Newcastle passed Oamaru yesterday morning, bound for Lyttelton, and as the wind is favourable she may bo looked for at any moment. She comes consigned to Messrs Win. Montgomery and Co. The following paragraph appears in the Olac/n Times of May Ist. As there was never such a vessel as the llenard trading between the places named, there must be some absurd mistake :—“ Another schooner, the llenard, is reported missing from Lyttelton. She was a trader between that port and Le Bons Bay. Left the latter place on the 4th ult., and was last seen on the 7th driving off the laud in the gale. She is supposed to have been lost with all Hands.” Despite the ill-usage it has received, the hull of the Isabella Ridley, lying on the Timaru beach, continues to hold together wonderfully well. It is lying on nearly an even keel, the seas washing over it from bow to stern. Only about ninety sacks of grain out of the 1200 odd on board, have been got out, as no work has been going on for the last week. All idea of getting the hull off has now been abandoned, and it will probably he blown up as soon as possible.— Herald. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, May 2.
