SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday, May 1. [Before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston.] 11 is Honor sat in the Court Chambers, at II a.m. GEE V. MOCVRE. In this case the time and place of trial was fixed at Christchurch, at next civil sittings of the Court. UK JOHN HASTINGS ITHUDSON. Mr Garrick applied on the affidavits of Messrs George Hart, and John Lewis for a debtor’s summons under the Debtors and Creditors Act, calling on John Hastings Herdson to show cause why lie should not be ad judicated a bankrupt. Mr Jovnt was present, to watch the case in the interest of those concerned in the settlement. After some argument,

His Honor granted a debtor’s summons, returnable at the first banco sittings after his Honor’s return from the Court of Appeal. Service to be made on Mrs Herdson at her residence in Christchurch. The Court then rose.
