The Customs’ revenue collected on Thursday amounted to £1229 9s lOd, as follows: —Spirits, £265 8s 7d ; beer, £47 10s; tea, £57; sugar, £lB 11s 2d; oilmen’s stores, £74 17s lid; tobacco, £153 15s; drapery, £246 8s; musical instruments, £l2 2s; drugs, £l6 2s; furniture, £29 14s; hardware, £54 10s; boots, £44 16s; vegetable oil, £3l ss: grindery, £ll 10s 2d; earthenware, £l4 8s: cement, £22 10s; saddlery, £22 2s; platedware, £lO 18s; fancy goods, £OS 4s ; sundries, £l7 18s. The Customs revenue collected on Friday amounted to £761 5s 7d, as follows: —Spirits, £4OB 2s lid; wine, £8 19s 2d; beer, £9 12s 6d ; tea, £lB 2s Ud; sugar, £3l 6s lOd; tobacco, £149 2s 6d; cigars, £22 6s lid; hops, £54 11s 3d; hardware, £lO 15s; boots, £4; grindery, £1310s; musical instruments, £27 18s; sundries, £2 18s. Messrs Clifford and Co., Cashel street, report on then - usual weekly sale on April 21st, as follows: —Milch cows, £6 to £10; calves, 9s to 19s; pigs, small stores, 4s to 10s 6d; stores, 11s to 18s; fat pigs, 20s to 40s; market still dull, and supply limited, prices a shade higher than on last sale day ; poultry, per pair, fowls, 2s to 4s 9d ; turkeys, 5s 6d to 8s; ducks, 4s 3d to 4s 6d; geese, 6s to 7s 3d. Good attendance, and lively bidding throughout.
