The brig Clematis, from Hobart Town, was signalled this morning early, being towed up to an anchorage by the p.s. Titan. CAPTAIN ANDREW. Much sympathy has been expressed in Dunedin and elsewhere with Capt Andrew in the unfortunate position in which he is placed. But it seems that in the course of three months he will be reinstated as a commander of one of the company's boats. In the meantime, however, he will suffer considerable pecuniary loss, and it has been proposed that the amount should be made up to him in the form of subscriptions. We hear that a subscription list will most likely be started in Christchurch and Lyttelton. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, April 17. Arrived—Emily Chaplin, barque, from Loudon.
