The Customs revenue collected on Saturday amounted to £317 5s .3d, as follows:—Spirits. £37 15s 9d; Wine, £7 lis 2d; Beer, £l9 3s i)d; Sugar, £4l Is lid; Oilmen's Stores, £27 i)s 7d; Tobacco, £7B ss; Drapery, £25 12s; Hops, £OO 6s 3d; Cement, £2U. The land sold by the Waste Lands Board yesterday amounted to 3074 acres 1 rood 27 perches, realising £b'l7B lis 9d, situated in the following districts :—Ashley, 110 acres; Selwyn, 539 acres; Ashburton, 159 U acres 3 roods; Geraldine, 673 aeres; Wairnate, 167 acres 0 roods 27 perches: town of Ashburton, 2 roods.
