Irwkee Goods Sued. A deputation waited on the Traffic Manager on Saturday, consisting of Messrs Boag, Metcalfe, and Baldwin. Upon stating l ire subject referred to, the deputation was informed by the manager that the man in charge of the station had been instructed to afford all assistance in loading trucks and marking bags, without interference to his other duties; that trucks would ho available to clear the shed on Thursday next at 1) a.m. The deputation informed a meeting held subsequently, of t heir interview, and that they had placed the question of settlement of the contractor’s bill in the hands of Messrs Hanmer and Harper.
