The Waste Lands Board held a sale by auction of town and rural lands on Wednesday, when the land sold amounted to 174 acres, realising 45820 16s, as follows:—Ashley, 19 acres 1 rood; Selwyn, 96 acres; Ashburton, 45 acres; Geraldine, 9 acres; Town of Ashburton, 4 acres 1 rood; Town of South Eakaia, 2 roods. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Auckland. Moanatairis went as low as 458 15s, but recovered it little, closing at —Buyers, 459 2s 6d; Kurunui Hill, 36s (id.
