(Per Press Agency.) Port Chalmers, April 2. The ship Wellington from London, from which she sailed on December 6th with six passengers and 1200 tons cargo, arrived last night. The Rotorua arrived from Lyttelton [at 6 p.m last night. Dunedin, April 2. The number of births, deaths, marriages registered in Dunedin during March were respectfully 468, 91, 157. The Dunedin Jockey Club on Saturday disqualified a bookmaker named Coleman from appearing on the Dunedin course or being interested in any horse run at the club’s meetings, by reason of unfair practices, Wellington, April 2. The Hawea sails for Lyttelton and Dunedin at three this afternoon. Passengers — Mrs Slater, Hon J, D. Ormond, and J. Christie. Auckland, April 2. Passengers for New Zealand by City of Sydney—Messrs Swarbrick (2), Macfarlane, Mrs Hobgden, and ten steerage, fifty-eight for steerage. The Taranaki leaves with the San Francisco mail for the South to-day. uich Yield from the MoanatairiGrahamstown, April 2. Another retorting for the Moanatairi on Saturday night gave 5177 ounces, making tbe total for the week’s yield of 10,427 ounces.
