The races were continued to-day. The weather is beautiful. Handicap Steeplechase, of 100 sovs, with a sweep of 5 sovs each for acceptors ; the amount accruing from the sweep to go to the second horse. Entrance, 4 sovs. About three miles, over such fences as the Stewards may appoint. Mr T. M'Kay, sen's ch g Banjo, . aged

71bs 2 Mr W. Swanson's b m Forest Queen, 5 yrs, list 3 This was a good race between Banjo and Zetland. Time-Turin 2ssecs.
Porbury Handicap, of 150 sovs, with a sweepstakes of 5 sovs each ; the second horse to receive the amount accruing from the sweepstakes. Nomination, 2 sovs ; acceptance, 3 sovs. One mile and a half. Mr D. O'Brian's Fishhook, Bst 121 b ... 1 Mr Logan's Cloth of Gold, 6st 101 b ... 2 Mr Nosworthy's Danebury, 7st 101 b ... 3 Titania and Hippocampus were scratched. Fallacy looked dangerous at one period of the race, and Danebury and Cloth of Gold ran the Cup winner pretty close. Time, 2 min 44 sec.
