The Taranaki did not sail till 10.30 last night, having a good deal of cargo to take in. The Alma, schooner, from Westport, arrived in port late last night.

WRECK OF THE SCHOONER CLYDE. As will be seen by a telegram published elsewhere, the schooner Clyde has been wrecked at Mahia. She sailed from Lyttelton for Auckland on March 17th with a cargo of produce, consisting of 100 sacks malt, 19 cases bacon, 2 casks pork, 30 sacks bone dust, 250 sacks flour, and 1 ton cheese. She will be a total wreck. All hands are saved.
