Medora, Perfume, Cockatoo, and Victor also ran. Perfume fell twice, and Cockatoo fell. Time—4min l^sec. Wanganui Jockey Club Handicap, of £2OO ; second horse to receive £25 out of the stakes ; nominations 2 guineas, acceptances 5 guineas ; lop weight not to exceed lOst; 2-£ miles. Maori Weed, May Moon, Queen of the Vale, Ada, Pete, Frowning Beauty, Flora, Folly, and Monarch also ran. It was a grand race, Eesolution winning by a length, with Elsa close up on Opawa.
