It was resolved, in order to increase the capital, to allow the dividend available to be carried to capital account. Some discontent was expressed at the system of distributing bonuses to insurers, and limiting the dividends to shareholders to 10 per cent, but it was not consider ed desirable to alter the arrangement for the present.
