Monday, March 12. For Akaroa and Southern Ports, per Wellington, at 11.25 a.m; late letters, 11.45 a.m; railway station, 12.25 p.m train. Mails per Arawata will close as under : For the United Kingdom, via Southampton and Brindisi, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, India, China, and the East, Suez, and Mediterranean Ports, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Otago and Australian Colonies, at 1.30 p.m ; late letters, 1.50 p.m. For money orders, noon. For registered letters, noon. For posting book packets and newspapers, 12.30 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the Guard’s Van, Christchurch Kail way Station, up to 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee. For .Napier, per Southern Cross, at 3.20 p.m. Tuesday, March 13. For Northern Provinces, per Taupo. For Wellington and Nelson, per Kingarooma, J. J. ITTZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
