Mails per Eofcorua will close as under : For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1.40 p.m.; late letters, 2 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Northern Provinces of New Zealand, at 1.40 p.m ; late letteis, 2 p.m. For Sydney, at 1.40 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. For money orders, noon. For regist red letters, 12.30 p.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, 1 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the Guard's Van, Christchurch Eailway Station, up to 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee. Saturday, March 10.
For Akaroa and Southern Porta, per Wellington, at 11.20 a.m; late letters, 11.40 a.m; railway station, 12.25 p.m train. J. J. i'lTZGlliiiOlS, T'hiaf Postmaster.
