Mails per Botorua will close as under : For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1.40 p.m.; late letters, 2 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, at 1,20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Northern Provinces of New Zealand, at 1.40 p.m ; late letters, 2 pan. For Sydney, at i. 40 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. For money orders, noon. For regist red letters, 32,30 p.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, 1 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the Guard's Van, Christchurch Kailway Station, up to 2 30 p.m. train, provided such letters hear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee.
