For Northern Provinces, per Wanaka, For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra.
Tuesday, March 6. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, Friday, March 9.
Mails per Rotorua will close as under : For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1.40 p.m.; late letters, 2 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Northern Provinces of New Zealand, at 1.40 p.m ; late letters, 2 p.m. For Sydney, at 1.40 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. For money orders, noon.
For registered letters, 12.30 p.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, 1 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the Guard’s Van, Christchurch Railway Station, up to 2 30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee.
