For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Northern Provinces, per Hawea, at 1,50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Saturday, March 3. For Otago, per Kotorua. Friday, March 9.
Mails per Eotorua will close as under : For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1.40 p m.; late letters, 2 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Northern Brovin ces of New Zealand, at 1.40 p.m ; late letters, 2 p.m. For Sydney, at 1.40 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. For money orders, noon. For registered letters, 12.30 p.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, 1 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the Guard’s Van, Christchurch Eailway Station, up t-» 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee. ■I.
