Steerage—Mrs Southan, Messrs Arnold, Day, Webster, Bullen, Martin, Roberts, Seager, Thompson, Sayers, Sullivan, Cutts and three boys, sixteen for South. Feb 15—Waihopai, schooner, 44 tons, Beardon, from Waitapu. CLEARED; Feb 16—Wakatipu, s.s, 1168 tons,Cameron, for Dunedin. Feb 16—Taupo, s.s, 461 tons, Carey, for Dunedin. Feb 16—Quiver, ketch, 19 tons, Smith, for Le Bon's Bay. Feb 16—Effie Meikle, schooner, 41 tons, Mustart, for Auckland. SAILED. Feb 16—Wakatipu, s.s, 1158 tons, Cameron, for Dunedin. Passengers—Miss Eliza Cane, Mr and Mrs Lowe, Messrs Scott, Webb, Paul, and Lake, and 16 original. The three-masted schooner Garibaldi, Oapt Verazoni, arrived this morning, timber laden from Hokitika. The s.s. Wakatipu arrived in harbor this morning at 5.30 a.m. from Sydney and Wellington. She sailed South at 10.30 a.m. The Taupo, from Northern ports, arrived at 9.15 a.m. She sails for Dunedin this afternoon. Two fore-and-aft schooners, the Waihopai from Waitapu, and the Kaikoura from Pelorus Sound, arrived last night.
