ALL-ENGLAND v. TARANAKI TWENTYTWO.
(Per Press Agency,') New Plymouth, February 13. The match with the All England was resumed at noon. The weather was beautiful. The Taranaki Twenty two resumed the innings with Harrison, the “not out of yesterday, who was faced by Muggendge, Southerton bowling instead of Ulyett. His bowling was most effective, demolishing nine wickets in an hour. The only men who made a stand were Fitzpatrick and McKellar, who made 5 and 6 respectively. The total score at 1.15 p.m* was 33, and with fifteen wickets down. The only feature after the telegram sent at 1.15 p.m. was, that Southerton took five wickets for 10 runs, none of the Taranaki men making any stand, except George, scored 7, and was the highest score made by Taranaki. Score—Second innings—Taranaki, 47, Total score, 79. The English winning in one innings.
