Thursday, February 8. For Otago, per Taiaroa, at 11.25 a.m; late letters, 11.45 a.m.; railway ..station, 12.25 p.m train. For Wellington and Nelson per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m train. Friday, February 9. Mails per Rotorua will close as under For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 11.30 a,m. ; late letters, 11.50 a.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands,at 11 a.m ; late letters, 11.20 a. m. For Sydney, at 11.30 a.m; late letter, 11 50 a.m. For Northern Provinces, at 11.30 a.ra. ; late letters, 11.50 a.m. For money orders, 10 a.rr, For registered letters, 10 a.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, 10.30 a.m. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the guard’s van, Christchurch Railway Station, up to 12.25 p.m train, provided such letters bear in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee.
