February 6—Dorwent, brig, 221 tons, Thompson, from Bluff. cleared; February 6—Alice Jane, ketch, 27 tons, Johnson, for Akaroa. sailed. February 4—Southern Cross, barque, 320 tons, Boon, for Hobart Town. February 6—White Eagle, ship, 879 tons, Power, for London. Passengers—saloon : Mrs Hudson, Miss Nelly .Hudson, Mrs E. Upton, Masters Tichborne and Henry Upton, Dr Gibson, Mr J. H. Twentyman; steerage: Mr and Mrs Turner, Mr and Mrs Parkins, Messrs Stenning, Aikman, Goltz, Gabites, Hunter, Kerr. The barque Southern Cross, Captain Boon, got under weigh and sailed for Hobart Town at 9 a.m. to-day. The brig Derwent was signalled when our express left Port, but had not yet arrived at her anchorage. The White Eagle was towed into the stream a little before noon by the p.s. Titan. She anchored in the fairway, but will most likely have sailed early this afternoon, the wind being strong and favourable.
