Wednesday, February 7. For Wellington and Nelson per Arawata. Thursday, February 8. Mails per Eotorua will close as under : For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America. Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, &c, &c, at 1 p.m; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Northern Provinces, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For Sydney, at 1.20 p.m; late letter, 1.40 p.m. For money orders, 12.30 p.m. For registered letters, 12.30 p.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, 12.30 p.m. ' Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the guard's van, Christchurch Itailway Station, up to 2.30 p.m train, provided such letters bear in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee.
