THE HAWEA The s.s Hawea, Captain Wheeler, arrived at 4 o’clock this morning. The delay was caused through the slide valve of the low pressure cylinder giving way, detaining the steamer from 9 p.m on Tuesday to 2 p.m yesterday. The accident happened twentyfour miles this side Cape Campbell. She sails for Dunedin (where she will be repaired) this afternoon.
