POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Wednesday, January 31. For Otago, per Hawea, at 1135 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. For Northern Provinces, per Taranaki, 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10p.ra. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Thursday, February 1. For Otago, per Rotorua. On and after this date a Post office will be established at Blue Cliffs, South Canterbury, and Mr Charles Meyer appointed postmaster. Important changes in local mail traffic on and after Ist February.—The mails for Templeton, Eolleston, Burnham, Selwyn, Dunsandel, Rakaia, Ashburton, Temuka, and Timaru now closed at 10.45 a.m. will be closed at 11.20 a.m. The mail for Timaru now closed at 3.20 p.m. will close at 4.30 p.m., and an additional mail for Ashburton will be despatched. The South mails now due at Christchurch by 7.17 p.m. train will arrive at 5 p.m. J. J. FITZGIBBOR, Chief Postmaster,
