THE ALL ENGLAND MATCH.

Jo the Editor of the Globe. Sir—l write to suggest that a public meeting of cricketers should be held at once, calling upon all the selection committee for the All England match to resign, with the exception of Mr Ashby, who alone shows any desire to perform the duties of his office. Last Saturday there was no match because these gentlemen, whoso duty it was to arrange one, as a matter of course, neglected to do so. I would take the opportunity of remarking that not only do the committee neglect their work, so far as matches are concerned, but that, with the exception of Mr H. W. Moore (who has, it seems, resigned) and Mr Ashby, tho committee are never on the ground to watch the practice although the All England Eleven are expected within three weeks. Yours, &c, COVER-POINT.
