Monday, January 29. For Chatham Island®, per Omaha, at 11.45 a.m. For Wellington, Sydney, and Newcastle, per Easby, at 11.35 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 4.45 p.m. Wednesday, January 31. For Otago, per Hawea. Important change in local mail traffic on and after February Ist : The mails for Templeton, Burnham, Rolleston, Welwyn, Dunsandel, Rakaia, Ashburton, Temuka, and Timaru, now closed at 10.45 a.m,, will be closed at 11.20. The mail for Timaru, now closed at 3.20 p.m., will close at 4.30 p.m., and an additional mail for Ashburton will be despatched. The South mails, now due at Christchurch by 7.17 p.m. train, will arrive at 5 p.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
