Oeangeism.—No 1, L.0.L., Lyttelton, held an Arch Purple Lodge on Thursday, the 18th instant. The lodge was opened in due form with prayer aud the reading of a portiou of Scripture. Four brethren were raised to the degree of Arch Purple, after which the brethren adjourned to refreshment. A number of visitors from the different sister lodges were present, including *v,o orano (Secretary and Grand Treasurer. The brethren, after speuding a very pleasant evening, broke up at 11 p.m.
