The Mary Ann Annison, barque, Captain Hughes, sailed this morning for Newcastle, but at noon, when outside the Heads, her head was again turned towards Lyttelton, the ensign being hoisted at the main, denoting that there had been some disturbance with the sailors, as the police were wanted. The s.s Wellington, from Port Chalmers, arrived at 10.30 a.m. She sails North this evening. The brigantines Annie Brown and Sarah and Mary, from Greymouth, arrived this morning. The s.s Beautiful Star sailed for Gore s Bay last evening.
