Maurice O’Connell, for being d unk and breaking windows in Colombo street, the property of Mr Whitcombe, was fined ss, and 25s value of glass broken Three inebriates, who appeared for the first time, were each fined ss. Lunacy from Drink.— Charles Ellis was charged with this offence. Prisoner appeared to be suffering very much from the effects of drink, and his Worship remanded him to Lyttelton for medical treatment.

LYTTELTON. Wednesday, January 3. (Before W. Donald, Esq, R.M.) Drunk and Using Profane Language. —William Gillespie, arrested by Constable Bullen, charged with this offence, was fined 10s.

Drunkenness. —James Lundon. arrested by Constable Mclnfosh, charged with the above, was fined 10s, or in default fortyeight hours imprisonment.
