Saturday, December 30. For London, per Waimate, at S a.m. Specially addressed letters only. For Otago, per (Maori, at 11.35 p.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway station, J 12.25 p.m. train. For Wellington, Nelson and Australian Colonies, per Tararua, at 1,50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m train. For Otago, per Wellington, at 8.30 p.m. For Northern Provinces, per Hawea, at 8.30 p.m. Monday, Ist January, being a Post office holiday, local mails usually despatched on that day will be closed for despatch this day at 8,30 p.m. The delivery window, Christchurch Post office, will be open from 8 to 9 p. m. for the purpose of delivering correspondence received by country mails. Applicants are requested to give their addresses in full. Monday, January 1. A Post office holiday. All branches of the office closed. On and after this date a Post-office will be established at Albury (Opawa and Pleasant Point Railway Extension), and Pakaki Ferry, South Canterbury, Tuesday, January 2.
