Friday, December 29. For Otago, per Maori, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2-10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30p,m. train. For Otago, Tasmania, and Australian Colonics, per Albion. Saturday, December 30. For Wellington, Nelson and Australian Colonies, per Tararua. For London, per Waimate, at 8 a.m. Specially addressed letters only. For Otago, per Wellington, at 8.30 p.m. For Northern Provinces, per Hawea, at 8.30 p.m. Monday, Ist January, being a Post office holiday, local mails usually despatched on that day will bs closed for despatch this day at 8.30 p.m. The delivery window, Christchurch Post office, will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. for the purpose of delivering correspondence received by country mails. Applicants are requested to give their addresses in full. Monday, January 1. A Post office holiday. All branches of the office closed. On and after this date a Post-office will be opened at Albury (Opawa and Pleasant Point Railway Extension, South Canterbury J. J. FITZGIBBOJS, Chief Postmaster.
