For Wellington and Sydney, per Wakatipu, at 11.35 a.m; late letters, 11.50 a.m; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Friday, December 29. For Otago, Tasmania, and Australian Colonies, per Albion. Saturday, December 30. For Otago, per Wellington, at 8.30 p.m. For Northern Provinces, per Hawea, at 8.30 p.m. Monday, January 1, Monday, Ist January, being a Post office holiday, local mails usually despatched on that day will be closed for despatch this day at 8.30 p.m. The delivery window, Christchurch Post office, will be open from Bto 9 p. m. for the purpose of delivering correspondence received by country malls.
