Saturday, December 23. For Akaroa and Otago, per Taranaki, at 11.35 a.m; late letters, 11.55 a.m; railway station, 12,25 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma, at 1.50 p.m, ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2,30p.m. train. Monday, 25th instant, being a Post-office holiday, local mails usually despatched on that day will be closed for despatch at 8.30 p.m. on Saturday. The delivery window at Christchurch Post-office will be opened for delivery of correspondence received by country mails from Bto 9 p.m. Applicants are requested to give their addresses in full. Monday being a Post-office holiday, the Christchurch office will be closed in all branches. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
