Tuesday, December 19. Mails per Arawata will close as under :--. For United Kingdom, via Southampton andßrindisi, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, India, China,. and the East, &c, at 1 p.m ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For Otago and the Australian Colonies, at 1.20 p.m; late letters, 1 40 p.m. Posting newspapers and book packets, 12.30 p.m. For money orders and registered letters, noon. Late letters for the above mails can be posted in the guard's van by the 2.30 p. m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee. ■Wednesday, December 20.
