Friday, December 15. For Wellington and N elson, per Arawata, at 1.50 p. m ; late letters, 2 10 p.m ; railway station, 2.30 p. m. train. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per s.s. Hawca, at 8.30 p.m. For Otago, per Wellington, at 8.30 p.m. The delivery window, Christchurch Postoffice, will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. for the purpose of delivering correspondence received by country mails. Applicants are requested to give their addresses in full. All country mails usually closed on Saturday, will be made up for despatch this day, at 8.30 p.m Saturday, December 16. A Post-office holiday—all Branches of the Office closed. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
