I) ec s—Marion,5 —Marion, schooner, 68 tons, Lamb, for Kaipara. Dec s—Courier, ketch, 31 tons, Sinclair, for Motonau. Dec s—Minniehaha, schooner, 86 tons, Smith, for Auckland. Dec 4—Rio, brigantine, 232 tons, Bohtar, for Adelaide. Passenger—Miss Rohtar. The Wellington, s s., was not signalled when our express left port this afternoon. "We are sorry to have to record the total loss of Messrs McMeckan, Blackwood, and Co’s fine steamer Otago, at Chasland’s Mistake, between Port Chalmers and the Bluff. Messrs Dalgety, Nichols, and Co. received the following telegram from their Dunedin house: —“Dunedin, 9.45 a.m. sth December. Otago totally wrecked off Chasland’s Mistake. All saved; further particulars later; are sending steamer to wreck.”
